This is a 3-stage filtration system that combines a sediment filter, catalytic carbon, and SP3 antiscale (Nucleation Assisted Crystallization) provides comprehensive physical, chemical, and anti-scale treatment.
It is recommended for homes with 1 to 2 full bathrooms.
Price includes standard installation and a 6 stage Alkaline Water System
The removal and treatment capabilities of this system by stage are:
1. Sediment Filter (Mechanical Filtration)
- Removes Physical Debris: Traps coarse particles such as dirt, sand, silt, clay, and pipe rust.
- Purpose: Acts as a physical barrier that prevents large debris from clogging the downstream catalytic carbon and damaging the SP3 media.
2. Catalytic Carbon (Chemical Adsorption)
Catalytic carbon is a specialized, upgraded form of activated carbon that is highly effective at binding and breaking down stubborn chemical compounds.
- Removes Disinfectants & Chemicals: Eliminates free chlorine and chloramines.
- Improves Taste & Smell: Removes volatile organic compounds (VOCs), pesticides, herbicides, and unpleasant musty or earthy odors.
- Reduces Trace Contaminants: Targets certain PFAS "forever chemicals" and hydrogen sulfide (the "rotten egg" smell).
3. SP3 Antiscale (Nucleation Assisted Crystallization - NAC)
